It is my pleasure to welcome you to the department of mechanical Engineering, Beharagora Polytechnic, Baharagora, Jharkhand. The department vision is to impart quality education, and to create and develop innovation in engineering field through industries and institutions for maximum benefit to society in particular and to nation in general.

Mechanical Engineering Department is one of the active and most vibrant departments in Beharagora Polytechnic. Within a very short period of time; mechanical Engineering Department of Beharagora Polytechnic has established itself into a great height. The objective of the department is to prepare students for successful career in industry, research and Academics to meet the needs of growing technology and bring out efficient engineers for national and global requirements.

The department has a dynamic energetic and highly qualified faculty members and a team of competent technical staff with equipped laboratories. Pass out students of the department have been well placed in various renowned industries and some students preferred for higher studies for ME, B.Tech, M.Tech and MS. The Department holds a very good placement record science the inception of its establishment. More than 70% of the students in their final year gets placement in TVS Motors, L&T, TCS, Anand Group, Jaihind Group, Motherson Group, Tata Metallic etc.

The department organizes specific job oriented hands-on training programs for the students such as AutoCAD and Solid Works, Industrial Automation using PLC, IoT and Robotics etc. Apart from that mechanical Engineering department organizes several industrial visits for students to different industries at and nearby Jamshedpur within the three years of study.
